Apache is the second-in-command of the Cybertrons on Earth, and he's basically the opposite of fun. He's a no-nonsense, short-tempered officer who demands perfection from his team—and from himself even more. The guy's a perfectionist to a fault, which means he takes every failure personally. If something goes wrong, he's convinced it's his responsibility, period. A lot of this comes from his deep respect for Lio Convoy; the thought of disappointing his commander actually weighs on him.
As a rigid old-timer, Apache has zero patience for reckless hotshots like Tasmania Kid and Lio Junior. He absolutely hates the Jointron brothers and their clown antics. The constant effort to keep his temper in check, combined with his own self-doubt, has created something darker lurking in his psyche. When he snaps—which he does—Apache shifts into what he calls "Angry Combat Mode," an artillery platform configuration that turns him into an unstoppable, destructive berserker. The problem? He doesn't remember any of it afterward. No memory of the mode, no memory of the destruction. He just blacks out and comes to later with no idea what happened.
