Dera Mochimazzi is a talking bird—a pretty bossy one at that. He speaks Japanese with what you'd call an imperious attitude, which fits his backstory as nobility from some tropical region. He eventually ends up staying at Tamako's place, where he becomes a regular fixture in her life.
