A diminutive Ittō-ryū swordswoman known for her unconventional weapon—a dagger forged from a spearhead. Doa shows up as a new recruit in the school's later arc and is practically inseparable from her partner Isaku, the two having developed a natural give-and-take in combat. She's the aggressive one, relying on speed and her signature blade, while Isaku plays the defensive anchor with his reinforced arms. The downside is that Doa's trigger-happy approach to fighting tends to drag them both into unnecessary trouble.
Originally from Hokkaido, she spent time there defending Ainu territories against samurai encroachment, despite not being Ainu herself. She and Isaku have known each other since those days. Over the course of the story, she becomes close friends with Asano Rin.
She's gone by other names in the past—Kuichiru and Towa—though Doa is her current identity.
