Fred's best known for being the healing and defensive magic specialist who helped Max, Leo, and Yulia take down the Demon Lord back in the day. He's a priest by trade and now runs the Magical Agency for the Kingdom of Bescar—basically the guy in charge of how magic gets used in the kingdom.
He's genuinely competent at what he does. The party relied on him heavily during their adventure, and he's saved their lives more times than they can probably count at this point. That said, fans often note that his blunt way of speaking can rub people the wrong way. He's not mean-spirited about it, but tact definitely isn't his strong suit.
