Testament was originally human before undergoing surgical conversion into a Gear. For years, they operated under the Conclave's control as part of the effort to resurrect Justice. Everything changed after the Second Holy Order Selection Tournament—they broke free from that control and finally reclaimed their own will. Wracked with guilt over what they'd done, Testament withdrew to the Forest of Demons to hide away.
That isolation didn't last. They found purpose in protecting Dizzy, a half-Gear hunted by humans, starting as a way to atone but ultimately becoming something deeper. Working to keep her safe actually restored their sense of humanity in the process. These days, Testament lives peacefully with the elderly couple who used to care for Dizzy, and they've managed to find real contentment in that quiet life.
Testament's interests run wide and eclectic—they're into fashion, DIY projects, makeup, plastic model kits (giant robots especially), sightseeing, fishing, pottery, bonsai, gardening, weight training, baking, painting (badly), embroidery, nail art, board games, and even writing sci-fi novels. They also enjoy opera, wrestling, baseball, beach volleyball, snowboarding, hot springs, and have a weird love for shark B-movies. They collect occult trinkets and make scrapbooks.
