Synopsis

In a world where magic replaced science and technology, humanity created biological weapons called Gears—only to have them turn against them in a brutal war known as the Crusades. Humanity won, but the scars ran deep, and decades later, people still hadn't fully moved past it. Sin Kiske is heading to his parents' wedding: his human father Ky and his Gear mother Dizzy. It's a huge deal—a human and a Gear getting married breaks the ultimate taboo. Peace has finally made it possible, though it took forever to get here. Despite all the emotional baggage surrounding it, the ceremony goes well and people actually bless the union. Then a mysterious girl shows up out of nowhere. She's the fated child carrying Gear blood, and she absolutely hates Gears. When these two meet, everything changes.
