Sol Badguy is best known as a lone-wolf bounty hunter with a reputation that eventually caught the attention of Kliff Undersn, the retiring captain of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights. Kliff went out of his way to recruit him, but Sol's tenure with the Order didn't stick around. Tensions with Ky Kiske, the young master swordsman, festered, and Sol quickly realized the knights resented him. When the chance came, he bolted—taking Fireseal, one of the Order's prized blades, with him. Five years after the Crusades ended, Sol's back to what he does best: hunting for bounties. When one of his marks mentions a tournament being organized by the Sacred Order, Sol barely blinks as he completes the job. But that news? It's already got his full attention.
In combat, Sol's an aggressive striker who overwhelms opponents with style and ferocity. As a person, though, he's blunt and short-tempered, the type who'd rather not talk unless he has to. Words aren't really his thing—he communicates through action and attitude instead, which doesn't help his case with people who don't know him. Most see him as selfish and violent. Those who actually know him? They accept him for what he is.
