Jun Wu is the Heavenly Emperor and the oldest, most powerful Martial God around. He runs things from the Great Martial Hall, basically Heaven's top martial palace, though honestly he spends most of his time cultivating or keeping watch over the realms—heavy is the head that wears the crown, as they say.
His backstory's pretty legendary. About fifteen hundred years ago, he was a renowned general during a chaotic warring period. He eventually crowned himself king, ruled for a while, and then ascended to Heaven. Before that, the gods had apparently destroyed themselves in some massive catastrophe a few centuries earlier, so Jun Wu basically cleaned up the mess—he created an entirely new dynasty of gods and established the stable Heavenly Court that exists now.
Personality-wise, he's the strong, silent type. Composed, gentle, doesn't talk much. But when he does speak, people listen. Other gods take his words seriously because they know they carry weight.
