Bask puts a bounty on Lin and Bat after the Hokuto Army—their militia outfit—keeps hitting the Empire's slave trade operations. When Kenshiro takes down Barona, Bask decides he's got to fight him himself. It doesn't go well. His technique completely fails to land, and Kenshiro makes quick work of him. As a final insult, Kenshiro grabs Bask's arm and spins it with brutal efficiency while Bask screams, then finishes him off by striking a pressure point on his forehead that splits him clean in half.
