Nagumo is a striker and captain for Prominence, one of the three elite teams in the league. He's got that fearless, rebellious streak that makes him stand out—the kind of player who doesn't play by anyone else's rules.
When Endou's team first ran into him in Okinawa, they actually mistook him for Gouenji at first. The confusion made sense: Nagumo's earned the nickname "Fire Striker," and he lives up to it. During a challenge match against Endou's squad, he made it clear why Prominence is ranked so high, scoring easily and showing off skills that left an impression.
There was a moment where it looked like he might join up with Inazuma, but that changed fast once Gran showed up. Turns out Nagumo had other plans all along—and he revealed them by asking people to call him "Burn" instead. He and Gran clearly don't get along, which says something about where his real loyalties lie.
His signature moves are what you'd expect from a fire-themed striker. He's pulled off Atomic Flare and Fire Blizzard (the latter alongside Gazel), and later added Chaos Break to his arsenal, teaming up with both Aphrodi and Gazel for that one.
