Mosquito Girl is a prototype artificial mutant engineered by Dr. Genus at the House of Evolution. She's essentially a human-mosquito hybrid with the ability to command massive swarms of insects, which she uses to drain blood or mend her own injuries.
Her body is mostly exoskeleton—lightweight enough to keep her airborne on her wings. Her limbs are elongated and tipped with dual hooks, and her lower legs are digitigrade with extra forelegs attached. Long bristles cover her biceps and shins, striped like a hornet's. Her face is distinctly human, but her head itself is basically a mosquito's: complete with a second pair of compound eyes, two sets of antennae, and a shortened proboscis. She's got a banded abdomen running down her lower back as well.
When she transforms, those banded stripes become jagged and more aggressive-looking, and her bristles sharpen into spines.
Despite her human features, Mosquito Girl sees basically everything—humans, animals, whatever—as a meal. She's obsessed with blood and treats her insect swarms like her kids, calling them "little ones" and weaving them into her combat strategy. She's confident to the point of arrogance, rarely bothered by threats, and tends to trash-talk opponents as much as she attacks them.
