Synopsis

Saitama looks like just an average guy, but he's got an unusual passion: being a hero. He trained obsessively for three years straight to make his childhood dream happen, and it worked—so well that he lost all his hair in the process. Now he's basically unstoppable. Literally any opponent goes down in a single punch. The problem? There's nobody out there strong enough to give him a real fight, so he's stuck in this weird existential crisis where being invincible is actually boring. Then he meets Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg who sees Saitama absolutely wreck someone and immediately decides this guy's his mentor. Genos convinces him to join the Hero Association so they can get officially recognized for saving people. Saitama's genuinely shocked that nobody knows who he is, so he's down for it. As he starts working with the association, taking on stronger enemies and finding actual companions for the first time, he finally gets a taste of what being a real hero actually means—and maybe, just maybe, finds the challenge he's been missing.
