Armored Gorilla is an artificial mutant built by Dr. Genus at the House of Evolution. He's the organization's only battle cyborg and ranks as their third-strongest creation, standing apart from his peers thanks to his heavily mechanical construction.
The character is essentially a walking tank—a massive cyborg with a gorilla's head encased in full plate armor. Spikes jut out from his shoulders, knee pads, and gauntlets, while his belt buckle is shaped like a gorilla face. His chest plate bears a custom patch with the letters 'A' and 'G' arranged in a diamond. Despite looking mostly biological, his gorilla head also contains cybernetic implants throughout.
Personality-wise, Armored Gorilla starts out stiff and robotic, speaking in monotone technical jargon like some kind of automated unit. But that's mostly an act—after he and Beast King get beaten in combat, he drops the pretense and admits he was just trying to look cool. Turns out there's actually a normal guy in there.
When things go south, though, his true nature shows: he's a coward who apologizes frantically and will rat out his own creator, Dr. Genus, just to save his skin.
