Nigredo is one of Nazarick's NPCs and the oldest of three sisters—the other two being Albedo and Spinel. She's locked away in the Frozen Prison on the fifth floor, where she's been kept since the guild's early days.
Her appearance is. unsettling. She shares Albedo's basic look but without any skin on her face, leaving her skull exposed. Her eyes and teeth are actually striking, but she has no lips or eyelids, which made the entire guild freak out when they first saw her. They attacked on sight, which tells you something about how disturbing the original Ainz Ooal Gown members found her.
Nigredo's behavior is complicated. Lock her away without her baby doll—a comfort object tied to her child, Victim—and she'll go feral, tearing apart anyone who comes near her. But those who know her suggest she's actually compassionate underneath all that rage. She and another NPC named Festonear were both against the idea of slaughtering innocent people that had been kidnapped from Re-Estize, which hints at a moral side most don't see.
Combat-wise, she's primarily a magic caster who specializes in information gathering and espionage. She's ranked among Nazarick's strongest NPCs, so her imprisonment is probably less about inability to escape and more about. whatever arrangement keeps her contained.
