Saeko Tanaka is a former Karasuno High student and the older sister of Ryuunosuke Tanaka. She actually went to school with the Small Giant, which is pretty cool in the volleyball world. Like her brother, she's got a loud, outspoken personality.
The volleyball team's second years—especially Nishinoya—think she's awesome and treat her like a cool older sister. Ryuunosuke, though, finds her annoying when she interrupts his studying. Her driving has become something of a running joke; Tanaka once told Hinata and Kageyama straight up that he couldn't guarantee their safety if Saeko was behind the wheel.
