Kani Base is a crab choujin best known for his rock-paper-scissors matches against Kinnikuman—though his fighting style comes with a built-in handicap. Because he literally has pincers instead of hands, he can only throw scissors, which made him an easy mark when Kinnikuman went rock during the 20th Choujin Olympics preliminaries.
He apparently learned nothing, because before the 21st Olympics he had his pincers surgically converted into actual hands. That gave him more options, sure, but Kinnikuman just switched tactics and threw scissors instead, beating him again.
He runs with Kinkotsuman and Iwao. The character was rebranded as Buster Crabb for the Ultimate Muscle adaptation.
