Satan is the shadowy Dark Lord who rules over all Devil Chojin. He's best known for operating from the shadows, pulling strings rather than fighting directly—mainly because he'd probably lose if he actually went head-to-head with a genuinely strong opponent. Most of the time he just appears as a disembodied cloud of smoke shaped vaguely like a face, though the 2011 sequel finally gives him an actual body.
What makes Satan dangerous isn't his personal strength but his reach. He's got enough power to influence major chojin directly, even gods like Goldman, whom he apparently gifted a whole new body to. His real talent is manipulation. He's pulled Buffaloman, General Devil, and Omegaman Aristera under his control at various points, and fans often note that his scheming basically kicked off the entire Seven Devil Chojin arc, the Six Devil Knights arc, and the whole Six Spears of Omega Centauri mess.
Satan's ultimate goal is becoming a full god. As an incomplete deity, he's willing to do pretty much anything to get there. He's also petty about failure—those who mess up his plans tend to face his wrath. It's classic villain stuff: ambitious, ruthless, and content to hide behind his minions while the real fighting happens elsewhere.
