Robert works at a roadside cafe—pretty much your standard humble job. What's not standard is that he happens to own an X-Playing Card, which basically changes everything for him.
Things took a turn for the worse when he got tangled up in some scheme he had nothing to do with. Suddenly he's drowning in debt with no real way out of it. That's when a crew of thieves came calling. They realized what his card could do and brought him into their operation, using his powers to pull off increasingly ambitious heists.
He's no longer got his original card—the ♥3 called "Rockin' Rock"—but those days are behind him now.
