Emeraude
Emeraude served as Cephiro's pillar—basically the spiritual and political heart of the entire country. She was beloved by her people, though most of what made her truly important didn't come out until late in the first series. The specifics of who she was and what she could do remained pretty mysterious for most of the story.
You might see her name written as Princess Esmerald or Esmeralda depending on the source. The official English translation of Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle actually called her Princess Emerald, which isn't quite right, but that's how these things go with localization.
