One of the Four Temple Guardians, Gyuujirou is best known for being Mimi's "twin brother"—though he's had cosmetic surgery to appear older and insists he's one minute her senior. In the English dub, this backstory gets played up pretty heavily.
Gyuujirou typically pilots a robot suit and first shows up by destroying Mimi's access card after she loses, then trashing her deck. He's not above playing dirty; cheating and deception are basically his default strategy in duels. His repeated losses to Shobu and Hakuoh have made him bitter toward both of them.
He runs a Water Civilization deck, though he switched to Wave Striker during his tournament match against Shobu.
