Codain serves as the Cast Leader for Etcet Land at Amagi Brilliant Park, though calling it a "leader" in the traditional sense might be generous.
The character's most distinctive feature is its appearance—a weathered, greyish-brown statue modeled after a Dogū, those mysterious clay figurines from ancient Japan. True to its statue-like nature, Codain doesn't move or speak throughout the series. That said, it somehow manages to teleport between locations off-screen, which raises more questions than it answers.
Beyond its role overseeing Etcet Land, Codain occasionally shows up working the crêpe stall. How effective is it at that job? Let's just say a silent, immobile statue isn't ideal for customer service. Still, it's there, trying its best in its own peculiar way.
