Menoly is a teenage female Arrancar who served under Sōsuke Aizen. She and Loly were tasked with bringing Orihime Inoue to Aizen when he wanted to display the Hōgyoku to her.
Menoly wears a mask fragment identical to Loly's, just mirrored on the opposite side of her face—a detail that's led fans to speculate they might be sisters. She also sports a white segmented choker and white bracelets that appear to be additional mask fragments. Her appearance is often compared to Grimmjow's, particularly her sharp hairstyle, though hers is blonde where his is teal.
Personality-wise, she's notably less devoted to Aizen than Loly is, and she seemed uncomfortable leaving him alone with Orihime. When Loly's anger at Orihime escalated, Menoly actually showed more restraint—she warned Loly not to "take it too far" and risk getting caught and punished by Aizen or higher-ranking Arrancars. That said, she wasn't cautious enough when it mattered. Despite her wariness around Grimmjow, she attacked the Sexta Espada without thinking twice, which got her killed. It's one of those ironic character moments where her tactical thinking didn't extend to a direct confrontation with someone so far above her pay grade.
