Ayumu, better known as "Ayu-nee" or "big sister Ayu," is the Shinsengumi's den mother—their cook and housekeeper who keeps the compound running. She's got that warm, maternal energy that makes her the go-to older sister figure for Tetsu and the others, and she's fully aware of what everyone around her actually does for a living. Pretty straightforward about it, too.
She's Susumu's older sister, and like him, she's a trained shinobi with ties to the Oniwaban. Unlike her brother, who's based on a real historical spy, Ayumu is entirely fictional.
