Gein is the last living heir to a medieval lineage of master mechanics. He's famous for crafting grotesque puppet suits assembled from corpses—the Iwanbō series being his most notable work. Despite his advanced age, he's deceptively strong, having spent decades manipulating these heavy creations. His signature weapon is Zankosen, diamond-edged steel wires that control his puppets but work equally well as cutting implements, sharp enough to slice through flesh and bone alike.
What really drives Gein is testing his work. He gravitates toward battlefields and skilled fighters because he genuinely believes that's where technology advances fastest—in combat. That philosophy is ultimately why he sided with Shishio.
