Appearance:
A tall, muscular Shinigami with a bald head and mustache, Kasaki typically wore a serious expression. Like other division members, he dressed in the standard Shinigami uniform topped with the 9th Division's white jacket, which featured a high collar.
History:
Kasaki first appeared during the Turn Back the Pendulum arc when Kensei and his seated officers were dispatched to investigate mysterious disappearances in the Rukongai. He helped rescue a young Hisagi Shuuhei and his friends from a Hollow attack. When evidence emerged that ten Shinigami had gone missing—matching the number of a vanguard sent out earlier—the situation escalated dramatically. Kensei ordered Kasaki to organize the standby unit and establish a camp to intercept whoever was responsible before they could reach the Seireitei.
That night, Kasaki rested in the captain's tent alongside Kensei and the lieutenant while other officers kept watch outside. The screams of the guards sent both of them rushing out with drawn swords, only to find their comrades dead. They were immediately attacked. Kasaki was killed in the confrontation, while Kensei suffered severe injuries.
