Shirasu works as the Kumo family's housekeeper and is Tenka's best friend. He's unfailingly polite and gentle on the surface, but there's a lot more going on beneath that—he's a former ninja from the Fuuma Clan, which no longer exists, and he's genuinely skilled in a fight.
On the domestic side, he's got real talent for baking and making sweets, but his savory cooking is. rough. Like, consistently bad.
The reason he's with the Kumo family at all goes back ten years. Tenka found him severely injured, got him medical help, and he's basically been part of the household ever since. It's the kind of origin story that explains why the two are so close now.
