A Buddhist monk best known for being one of the more vocal personalities in the Gantz room. He became convinced that the place was actually a spiritual testing ground—basically purgatory where souls get judged before moving on to heaven or hell. He tried hard to get others to buy into this interpretation, though it didn't go over great with everyone. Things got particularly tense between him and Katou when the latter started explaining the actual mechanics of the survival game. The monk didn't take kindly to that reality check and they had some pretty heated exchanges because of it.
