Commander of the City Patrol
He runs the City Patrol and reports straight to the magistrate. Not much is known about what he's actually capable of—at least until he demonstrates his abilities while investigating one of the Mushigari members who's been killed by a sword strike so powerful it cleaved through both the victim and the stone wall behind him. He doesn't regularly work cases out in the field, which makes his selection as commander seem even more deliberate. Whatever his skills are, they're clearly exceptional enough to warrant the position.
