Kimi is a Medical Department student at Kamii University who's best known for being Nishiki's girlfriend—and notably, she knows full well that he's a ghoul. She's devoted to him, partly because he unknowingly comforted her after her family died in a plane crash. The two have managed to keep their relationship under wraps, which is smart on her part; getting caught helping ghouls carries way harsher penalties than assisting human criminals, so she's careful about her association with both Nishiki and Kaneki.
