Ai is one of the younger Natsuki twins, alongside her brother Yu. They're basically typical mischievous little kids—curious, energetic, and always getting into something. Between the two of them, they drive their older sister Rin up the wall constantly, but there's genuine affection underneath all the chaos. Rin's protective of them in that way older siblings are, willing to go to bat for them no matter what.
Interestingly, Ai and Yu manage to annoy Nozomi too, yet somehow they get along well with her. Fans often chalk this up to Nozomi's own youthful energy and the way she relates to Rin more like a peer than an adult—so the twins feel comfortable around her despite being little terrors.
