Yuuki Tajima is a 2nd-year middle schooler and the top seed in the U-12 division—basically the best player in his age group. He's a member of the Southern Tennis Club and has proven himself to be seriously skilled on court.
Because he'd already outpaced local competition, Tajima had to travel to Florida just to find opponents who could challenge him. He'd actually been to the Florida Tennis Academy way back in 3rd grade, trying to train at a higher level, but homesickness got the better of him after just three days. His mom had to come pick him up.
