Wiper leads the Shandian warriors in their fight to reclaim Upper Yard from Enel, wielding a Burn Bazooka as his weapon of choice. As a direct descendant of Calgara, he inherited his ancestor's aggressive nature and stubborn streak. He's always been hostile toward the Skypieans—even after Gan Fall's attempts to broker peace during his time as "god"—and harbor deep resentment toward anyone from the sea.
During Enel's survival game, Wiper fought Luffy to a standstill, neither gaining clear ground. Though he survives the game itself alongside Robin, Zoro, Nami, Gan Fall, and Enel, the latter defeats him decisively when Wiper refuses to surrender. Wiper's secret weapon is the Reject Dial, a devastating weapon that damages both opponent and user equally—a desperate tool he uses despite the cost. Even after taking a direct hit from Enel's Goro Goro powers (which Enel can recover from by restarting his own heart), Wiper refuses to stay down. He deploys the Reject Dial a third time that same day—defying all logic about what his body should survive—to help the Straw Hats topple Giant Jack so Luffy can reach Enel's ship and finish things.
Beyond the Burn Bazooka and Reject Dial, Wiper's a capable close-quarters fighter who uses Skate-type Wavers to amplify his kicks. After Enel's defeat, he finally witnesses peace take root between the Shandians and Skypieans. These days, he's focused on rebuilding the Shandian village alongside his people.
