Thirteen
The main antagonist and an old associate of Zero's. He's one of only two survivors of the massacre that resulted in the Grimoire of Zero being stolen—the other being Zero herself. Like Zero and Albus, Thirteen isn't his real name; it's just the alias he goes by.
He's known for his deadpan expression and quiet voice, though he shares Zero's quirks when it comes to food, including being weirdly punctual about mealtimes. After leaving the cave, Thirteen became a Court Mage for a local kingdom with the stated goal of hunting down rogue mages who'd gotten their hands on the Grimoire.
That said, his true motivations are murky at best. It's become clear that he's been manipulating the people he works for the entire time, which raises serious questions about what he's actually after.
