A celestial spirit under contract to Lucy. He's a fighter who specializes in close-quarters combat using a pair of giant scissors as his weapon—though he's just as likely to use them for hairstyling. He's apparently trimmed Lucy's hair before and seems to enjoy the work.
One of his most notable quirks is that he punctuates nearly everything he says with "ebi" (the Japanese word for shrimp), which has become pretty much his signature verbal tic.
