Fuka and Rinne grew up together at the same orphanage. After leaving, Fuka made her living as a freelancer.
Their friendship hit a rough patch about a year before ViVid Strike! kicks off. The rift came down to Fuka's sympathy for Lyra Caprice, a striker Rinne had brutally knocked out and then trash-talked in a post-match interview. When Fuka expressed concern for Lyra, things between them never quite recovered.
