Gokuu Black
In the future he terrorizes, Gokuu Black decimates humanity and nearly wipes them out entirely. He crushes Trunks in their first encounter, though Trunks manages to survive. Over the next eighteen months, Trunks and Bulma work frantically on a Time Machine, hoping to travel back and prevent the catastrophe. Their plan falls apart when Gokuu Black tracks them down, kills Bulma, and destroys their base. Trunks barely escapes with just enough fuel for a one-way trip to the past, with Gokuu Black hot on his heels. Even after arriving in the past, Black continues his assault—he torments Mai and taunts Trunks, making it clear the threat has followed him through time.
