A former ninja turned teacher, he's earned solid respect for his skills both in the field and the classroom. He's pretty much the dad figure of the group—especially to Rantarou and his classmates. His specialty is flintlock rifles, and he's genuinely skilled with them.
The weird thing about him? He loves going undercover in drag. Like, really loves it. He's created this whole persona called Denko that he's absolutely confident in, despite being hilariously unconvincing to literally everyone else. His friends usually just roll their eyes and deal with it.
He's married to a beautiful and somewhat mysterious kunoichi, but the distance sucks—the academy keeps him away from home most of the time. Their son Rikichi, who's also a ninja, basically acts as their personal mail carrier at this point, passing messages back and forth between them.
