Anemone is a 17-year-old LFO pilot who flies theEND, a machine that outclasses most standard units. She's constantly shadowed by Gulliver, her odd and heavyset pet Moler. Dewey put Dominic in charge of looking after her—ostensibly as her caretaker, though really to monitor her as his plans unfold.
She deals with brutal headaches, nosebleeds, and emotional crashes that she manages with injections of a drug derived from Eureka's plasma, administered through a receptor in her neck. Whatever trauma shaped her past, she seems genuinely grateful for what Dewey's done to her, or at least acts that way.
When medicated, Anemone becomes nearly untouchable in combat. Even Renton and Eureka struggle against her and theEND, which speaks to both her skill and her machine's superiority over standard LFOs. In the air, she's got the edge.
