He goes to Katagiri Senior High School and is best known for his crush on Kyouko Hori. He's close friends with Izumi Miyamura now, though that wasn't always the case—he initially resented Miyamura because of how close he was to Hori. At one point he actually confessed his feelings to her, but she turned him down pretty quickly. Despite that rocky start with Miyamura, the two eventually became genuinely good friends.
