Guardromon is an Android-type Digimon built for protection, a mechanical fighter with a strong sense of justice. The thing is, he's kind of a disaster—clumsy, unfortunate, and often bungling his missions despite good intentions. You'll sometimes see his name spelled Gardromon.
Digimon Adventure: Guardromon showed up in a flashback as part of Piedmon's crew, raiding the facility where the DigiDestined's Digi-Eggs were stored. They didn't succeed though—a younger Gennai managed to grab the eggs and escape.
Digimon Adventure 02: The Digimon Emperor's Dark Rings had control of several Guardromon in Full Metal City. One of them destroyed the Digi-Port to the Real World right as Kari and Gatomon were trying to escape. Later, a Guardromon shot down Nefertimon during that same operation before Flamedramon and Pegasusmon took them all out. After Andromon freed himself from the Dark Ring's control, he destroyed the Control Spire and reprogrammed the Guardromon back to normal. At least one freed Guardromon (now called Guardian Angel One) showed up during the final fight against MaloMyotismon.
Digimon Tamers: Guardromon helped the Tamers break Jeri out of Orochimon's clutches by hiding in drink barrels to sneak onto the island. Once they'd dealt with Orochimon, Guardromon partnered up with one of the Tamers and fought alongside them against Beelzemon and the D-Reaper.
Digimon Savers: A Guardromon was among the Digimon deleted by Akihiro Kurata's forces a decade before the series began.
Digimon Fusion: A bunch of Guardromon worked under AxeKnightmon in the Dust Zone as part of his contribution to the Bagra Army's campaign against the Fusion Fighters.
