A classmate and friend of Haruto's who genuinely loves the rush of riding his motorcycle. He's dealing with a chronic illness that's basically put his dream of becoming a professional racer out of reach.
When Haruto moves to Tokyo, he and Asuka become his first real friends there—the two of them click immediately and the three become inseparable. It's the same kind of tight-knit dynamic he had back in Hiroshima with Takashi and Akari, just transplanted to a new city.
