A sniper with a mixed heritage—her mother German, her father American—Touka grew up learning weapons and combat from her old man, a former soldier who trained her alongside his military buddies. She was her hometown's youngest-ever shooting competition winner. After her mother died, she spent two years working with her father for a private military contractor.
Touka's got a hair-trigger temper and a tendency to explode into violence without warning, which makes her a textbook tsundere. She's genuinely curious about the world around her, but she's also pragmatic enough to call out bullshit when she sees it. There's a real shrewdness and toughness lurking beneath that cute, innocent-looking exterior of hers.
As a kid, she'd brandish a shotgun at anyone who rang the doorbell while she was home alone—these days, that intensity has transformed into extreme shyness around strangers. First impressions tend to be rough; she usually dislikes people on sight. Yet there's this underlying desperation to be liked, even though she rarely bothers putting in the actual work to befriend anyone.
