Kotonoha no Niwa
She's a mysterious 27-year-old who first crosses paths with Takao during a rainy day in the garden. She's usually found with chocolate in one hand and a beer in the other—not exactly your typical garden visitor. Their rainy morning meetings actually start because she responds to Takao's greeting by speaking back to him in classical verse, which kicks off their whole connection.
Kimi no Na wa
Here she works as a Japanese literature teacher for Mitsuha, Tessie, and Sayaka. She's the one who teaches them about "kataware-doki," a word from the local Hida dialect that means twilight.
