Marquis Wilhelm von Klopstock was a fallen nobleman from the Imperial high aristocracy. He's remembered as a cautionary figure—a man consumed by grief and rage who attempted to assassinate Kaiser Friedrich IV in 796 UC, then took his own life when the plot failed.
The tragedy that defined him was personal.
