Ria is a High Elf whose tribe was torn apart by war. The men were essentially exiled to other settlements, leaving the women—including Ria—to survive on their own. They faced real danger from other tribes who didn't treat them well, so it was a rough situation all around.
For years, she managed to keep a group of female High Elves together as they traveled and tried to make lives for themselves. Things shifted when she met Tia, an Angel. That friendship ended up being kind of a turning point for Ria and changed the direction of everything she was doing.
