Eiichiro Takeba was a scientist at the Kirijo Group who got caught up in the Shadow Incident of 1999. He's best known as Yukari's father and for his attempts to expose the corporation's dangerous, unethical experiments—a move that ultimately cost him his life. When things went wrong, the Kirijo Group pinned the blame on him, even though he was trying to do the right thing by going public.
He died while recording a video message for Yukari. Ikutsuki later got his hands on the footage and manipulated it to serve his own agenda with SEES, making Eiichiro's final words into a tool for deception rather than the warning they were meant to be.
