Rankai serves as Seikyo's bodyguard and is basically a walking tank—he's got a massive frame and the strength to back it up, making him genuinely dangerous in a fight. His appearance is pretty intimidating, especially with that mouth full of sharp fangs that give him an almost monstrous look.
