Drum
Drum is a stubborn young dragon from Dragon World, best known for being the son of Fang Slade Terrestrial XIII, the chief of the Drum Clan. He's constantly trying to earn his father's respect, though the old man rarely seems impressed—a dynamic that clearly drives a lot of Drum's behavior.
Despite their constant bickering over petty stuff (pudding is apparently a major point of contention between them), Drum eventually comes to genuinely respect Gao. At one point, he even leaves to train on his own, determined to become strong enough to actually be useful to Gao rather than just a liability. When he returns, he's picked up the ability to access worlds beyond Dragon World, which is a pretty significant upgrade to his skillset.
