Tenma Udai, better known as the "Small Giant," was the ace of Karasuno High's volleyball team back in the day. He's basically the reason Shouyou Hinata got obsessed with volleyball in the first place—Hinata saw him play at a tournament and just decided that was going to be his life now. Despite his height being a real disadvantage in volleyball (a sport where taller usually wins), Udai made himself into an absolute monster on the court, which is kind of the whole point of his legend.
