Isanari Uesugi is the father of Fuutarou and Raiha Uesugi. He's largely absent from his kids' lives, working away from home most of the time. While he genuinely cares about his family, he's not really there to show it—a fact that weighs on Fuutarou especially as he tries to hold things together at home. Despite his good intentions, Isanari's absence means his children have to grow up faster than they should, with Fuutarou essentially taking on the role of parent to his younger sister.
